My passion for photography began when my Father gave me a 35mm camera at age 12. It was then I began my journey as an artist. From there I explored many other mediums and evolved, creating many types of art in all different mediums.

Every step of my journey has been influenced by art. I see the world in small pieces of time. I notice the details, extract and recreate them in a photograph, painting or design.

Living in the lowcountry, surrounded by my loving family provides endless inspiration and motivation for my art.

I chose parla "ingrid" for my site name because Ingrid is my middle name as well as my Mother's name. She is from Sweden and Ingrid helps represent my diverse culture and strong origins.
